15th Annual Appreciation & Awards Banquet
Featuring: Keeping Dreams Alive
APRIL 20th, 2012
5:30PM - 8:30PM
THE FORT COLLINS HILTON
We invite you to Realities For Children's 15th Annual Appreciation Dinner, where we honor the Business Members of Realities For Children as well as the entire child protection community in Larimer County. This year, we present to you the Keeping Dreams Alive program and the Human Services Awards Banquet!
The Keeping Dreams Alive program is designed to encourage children that may be struggling in their current situation to both identify and believe in their dreams. Many of the children we fight to protect fall into the survival mode mentality and are more focused on where they will be living next week than on what they want to do when they grow up. We believe that if a child loses their dreams, they lose much more than the joy of pursuing them, they lose the innocent hope and excitement that is an inherent right of being a child. Children in placement may need their dreams more than anyone, and if we are to see children triumph they must first dream that they can. On this magical evening we will grant the 'today' dreams of these children and encourage them as a community to overcome their childhood abuse and acheive their dreams of a better future.
The Human Services Awards Banquet honors everyone in our community who is part of the fight to end child abuse here in Larimer County. This includes the Business Members and volunteers of Realities For Children, local law enforcement, caseworkers, and all of the Affiliate Youth Agencies of RFC. For more information on the awards that will be given please visit our website at: www.DreamYouCan.com.
